The M.S.P. fixed stock is fitted with an aluminum pistol grip mount and a receiver block at the back of the M1A/M14stock. Any AR15 type pistol grip can be bolted on and the receiver block is designed to interface with an AR15 buffer tube and buttstock. This is a fixed stock only (no folding mechanism). You can install any AR15 buttstock to the receiver block at the back of this M1A/M14 fixed stock. For example you can install a AR15 collapsible stock, PRS Magpul (see photo) or the AR15/M16A2 buttstock. There are 2 sling mount positions on the receiver block one on each side and they are drilled and taped for a 10/32 sling stud/swivel (see photo). The rail is mounted on the fore arm and bolted to anchors placed inside the stock. The anchors are permanently fixed and reinforced with Kevlar. The rail and anchors are strong enough to mount a forward pistol grip and bipod on it. All aluminum parts are machined from 6061 and hard coat anodized. Length: 23 inches, weight: 1.8 pounds.

5 inch or 8 inch rail is available and two other colors besides black - OD green and coyote brown. Stocks are not painted green or brown until an order for a specific color comes in.
